The Start of Cold Blooded Designs

In 2005, web designer Tim Nealon started Nealon Web Designs. Very quickly we found ourselves as being one of the largest and most trusted web design firm on the east coast. Our list of clients include local mom and pop stores all the way up to Fortune 500 Companies. Nealon Web Designs is still going very strong.

In 2008 Tim started to get back into snakes. He used to have a very large collection that he had to part with in 2000 when his first daughter Emilee was born. Within the past year Tim started building his collection of boas and pythons back up. (Note from Tim: I now have an AWESOME girlfriend that allows me to keep snakes..she even bought me a new Vision Rack system for my birthday!) In doing so, he quickly noticed the poor nature of the web sites that seem to dominate the reptile industry. As a rule they are almost always poorly designed, hard to navigate, hard to find and just look like...well.

His experience, from running Nealon Web Designs told Tim that him and his team of designers could really help these companies. Tim saw this as an opportunity to target these individuals and help bring world class web sites to the herp industry. This is how Cold Blooded Designs was formed.

So, why two companies?

Nealon Web Designs already has a niche market created. We target small and medium sized businesses who are in need of online services. It is our bread and butter and we could never abandon what we worked hard to create. After much thought we realized that we wanted to separate the message we were sending to corporate America from the message we were sending to the herp companies. Using Cold Blooded Designs as a division of Nealon Web Designs helps us streamline our message to the reptile industry and helps us market directly to them more efficiently.
